After Stony pass 13650ft we new that the bikes were jetted right. Next came Picayne Gulch, then California pass, Hurricane, Corkscrew and a truly epic Black Bear pass. I dropped my Dr twice on Black Bear. Then it started running rough an I had to perform some major carb surgery in Telluride. We camped last night in a national forest outside of Norwood

I took the carb apart, drained fuel and still couldnt figure it out. Then jumpjet took over and found some dirt in the inline filter of the dr. It seems to be running fine, now. We are at the Happy Belly Deli in Norwood.

Hearty breakfast is essential since we have only been riding two days and we have to pick up our game.

We took Paradox trail from Hwy 141 in Co all the way to La Sal Mntns. Then Castle Valley Rd to Moab. Checked in at the Hostel ($12/person/night) and went to Arches. This morning maintenance and later Onion creek to North Beaver Mesa trail.
