We will be calling this the Freedom Bullet. Pictured below is the prototype built for Chris McCarthy mounted to his very nice 2010 Triumph.It has an optional glove box , skirted steel fender and a large exterior opening trunk with a rear rack. There is also a manual tilt adjuster added to this one. Body is hand made from 1/8" aluminum and powdercoated black. .
Claude, you and the crew have out-done yourselves with this one! What a beautiful design exercise, but with your creativity and attention to detail, not surprising to me. What could possibly be next?

Thanks for the compliment. The mounts are fairly typical of what we normally do. Yes, the mounting system is quite adjustable.
Roger. This one is about 52" center of bike tire to center of sidecar tire. It can be set wider or narrower.
Just a note here. We have developed a new design that can replece th elow frame design shown here. Yes we will still do thE low frame if requested but we feel the new design is better all around. In a nut shell the new design allows the 1" swingarm pivot spindle to be place high or low to regulate ride height of the sidecar chassis while still maintain a good swingarm angle. For a high ground clearance design the swingarm pivot is lowered and for a low slung chassis the swingarm pivot is raised. The pivot spindle is set into a CNC machined upright which is tig welded to the sidecar frame tube. The upright has 4 holes in it to allow variable spindle placements. The pivot spindles we use are welded in. We use cold rolled steel for the spindle s. If someone wants moly we can do that but we would then do a threaded spindle that would be a bolt in. We can also do an upright with two pivot spindles in it (one high and one low) to give an opportunity to raise or lower ride height with minimal hassle if the sidecar was to be mounted to a different bike or whatever the case may be. The spindle that is not in use would have a screw on sleeve over it for protection. ( The extra spindle assemble would be an upcharge in this case) So, bottom line, is that rather than making two frame designs we are now able to do one design using high quality machined parts that will fit many applications. Yes, our cost went up for the newly designed upright but we are eating the increase related to this and not passing It on to the ones who wish to go with one of our sidecars. To be candid we will be fine as far as the big picture goes due to a more standardized swingarm pivot system that will work for a very wide variety of applications. Just thought this would be of interest to those here.
I've seen that upright design and it's a good idea, faster,stronger and more accurate that fabricating, various bits.DB
Nice bit of kit . Can you advise how big the luggage compartment is in liters and also if you think can easily be hooked up to a Triumph Speedmaster/America given that I am in Greece therefore unable to provide a bike for test purposes.
