    Hey, folks.

I'm aware of a handful of offroad tour groups running around Baja. If you've toured with any that you would recommend I would really appreciate a PM. I have a group of 5-10 guys of varying experience levels who would like to come down for a tour this year. I've been unable to get a response out of Baja Bound Adventures so now I'm fishing around for another operator. And, yes, we know we could probably pull off a ride ourselves. There are reasons for wanting to work with a tour operator.

    Thx!!

I'm for Tim Morton. He knows the trails.

Try giving Bruce a call. He used to do Baja tours, which I've been on but now his site is showing stateside trips so I'm not sure if he's doing Mex trips anymore. Bruce and his crew are first class and will tailor a ride to your liking.

Tell him Kevin at Honda said hi....he's guaranteed to charge extra!!

    Tim has a solid reputation.

I've also looped around down south with Chris Steward and Nancy Emde of Trail Boss Tours.......always a blast: http://trailbosstours.com/about/

Buddy of mine Mark O'Niel talks big about TrailBoss. I don't know him though.

Thanks for the contacts, everyone! If we can make the trip happen I'll post on this thread to let you know how it went. :)

Bumping this thread. Any up to date recommendations? Any to stay away from?
So far I think I'm considering Chris Haines, Go Baja/Bruce Anderson, Captain Baja, and Baja Bound/Tim Morton. Would love any and all thoughts!

He's raced and worked with the others (Baja is a small place), knows the trails and lots of hidden single track. Plus he's a nice guy and fun to ride with :)

I don't think you could go wrong with Chris Haines, Baja Ride Company, or some of the others mentioned; but my preferred choice by far would be Tim Morton and Baja Bound Adventures. Get with Tim, and don't worry about it!

Done more than 30 trips with BajaBound since 2000. Tim and Jen know their stuff. If you actually like to ride, Tim is the guy !

"Varying experience".............there are trails and situations in Baja where experience can really matter.

The last big group ride I did there, nobody had pre-ridden the trails recently and a hurricane had made many trails un-findable.
Nothing but piles of rocks. As always its good to be honest about riding level.
