Does anyone know how to re-program the WHEEL SIZE (WS) function on a stock 2011 KTM 530 EXC Speedometer?

I can't find this procedure in the KTM owner's manual, but from past experience, that doesn't mean anything.
I had 2 early KTM 950 Adventures with Speedometers I could re-program for WS, but that info wasn't in the manuals either:lol3.

    Thanx

Press and hold the "o" button on the right until the screen changes and you are able to select different functions on the top and bottom of the readout.
-Press the "o" button to switch from function to function (i.e. A1, S1, WS)
-Select the WS option and use the "+" and "-" buttons on the left hand side to change the overall wheel size

You have to disconnect the speedo from the loom 3 pin connector before you can access the WS.

Thank you, but I just tried this method, and WS never came up as an option to choose.

I will now attempt B-rod's method.

:clapYes, that was one of the missing steps!

Now I will be able to switch to supermoto wheels, retaining a "reasonably" accurate speedo.

Here's the whole procedure as I just wrote it into my manual:

Measure circumference of newly mounted tire in mm. (I use a plastic metric Tailor's tape measure to do this).
    Remove fairing if necessary.
Disconnect Speedo from harness at 3 prong connector.
Press o to light up display.
Press o repeatedly until H appears.
Hold o down for 3 to 5 seconds.
Press o repeatedly, switching from funtion to function, until WS blinks.
    Press + .
Wheelsize appears in 4 digits which corresponds to mm of circumference of mounted tire.
Press + or - until new circumference is reached.
    Press o.
Do nothing for 20 seconds, and the new setting is stored automatically.

    Thanx Knobbythrower AND B-Rod:clap

I know this is an old thread but if anyone is having issues with this still you might have to cut the brown/black wire in the power connector. Make sure you disconnect the battery first than reconnect battery and follow the steps above. Hope this helps someone.
