Hi friends just finished my first long 900km ride on 1190 Adv ,We seriously need to complaint to the KTM on this issue ,Hope they can find some solution ,THe heat from engine on to legs is unbearable. And even seat is getting heated up? .The bike feels good if riding in rain and below 15 degress Centigrade ,Anything above is cooking ourselves .

The best solution is to do something like this.

Whether that is the best solution remains to be seen. I would be loath to close the air escape areas just to protect legs. The heat needs to escape somewhere. If one closes the escape areas it may create another problem of heat buildup causing other mechanical issues. Perhaps KTM will address the heat escape routes in some other manner.

same here - I'd rather cook my legs for a while, than the electronics and battery
