I have to admit I'm impressed with the inroads CanAm has made with these unique vehicles in a relatively short period of time. I see a lot these on the road here in Washington.

Here is a thread that I will be watching! I love the Spyder, but just cannot justify a roadster right now. People seem to think of it as a car or a trike and it is neither nor have they ever pretended to be either one. If I had the extra space and the time to ride it, there would be one in the garage right now!

Do dealers allow test rides/drives on these things?

I'd like to give one a whirl just for shitsandgiggles.

I test rode the touring model on a whim (and a dare), I gotta say, it turned out better then I expected. Get into some turns and they are like a snowmobile almost.

My (limited) experience with snowmobiles says that this is not a good attribute. :rofl

Come on out of the closet, I'm sure there are more than just two of you here.

I've tested one, and it was enjoyable. I too wished I could shut of the stability control, but I think the majority of this bike's buyers don't care.
There are a lot them here in SoCal. I think they help a lot of 'mobility lacking' folks get to be out in the wind on them.
