Interesting cuz' the wife is there now with her parents on photo safari. I always wondered about ADV in big game country. Guides always told me 'no motorcycles', then they offered horseback tours, mountain bike tours etc. Great place for some back road travel. Safety might be an issue on occasion.

Hi Inte, my wife and I are planning a 2-up 1 month trip to Bots-Zam-Zimb in April 2017 and would like to know more about your trip. Were you threatened by big game at any point? This is going to be fun for me! I have family that lived in Zim for 10 years, then in Bots for 10 years. My nephew that grew up in Zim went to boarding school in Kenya ......... and now he lives with his family on Lake Kariba ................ in Zambia! Looks like you guys will cover all the bases!
