Tigers made a Big Splash yesterday signing Fielder to a nine year 214 Million $$$$ contract - Owner Mike Ilitch (Red Wings & Little Ceasars Pizza) at 83 isn't holding back trying to Win his 1st World Series before he checks out :deal

With Verlander & company they should be a serious contender again and an exciting baseball season for Detroit fans to look forward too

This offseason has been a wet dream for the Cubs. They haven't spent any money, dumped Ramirez and Zambrano, and the biggest hitters from their division have moved to the American League. They should win 90 games this year. :lol3

I wish the tigers had only got fielder for 5 or 6 years. kids a fatass at 28, I can only imagine in nine years. hopefully he is durable during all this time. also, cabrera is supposed to move to 3rd? in other words, the defense is gonna suck.

I just hope they keep Tony Campana. That guy is a joy to watch IF he can get on first. I took my daughter to Wrigley last Spring and we are now hooked.

    Go Cubs!

My Parents have tried to attend every Colorado Rockies home opening day game since the inagural at old Mile Hi. I got the email today, Dad scored 3 for April 9. Mom is turning 76 and dad 72 but they still want to do this. Last year we got snowed out. :rofl

I usually try and hit a Rockies game in June with the parents-- near Father's Day.

5 days! Woohoo!Leaving work at noon Friday and having some buds over to watch the opener. Tickets are outrageous for that game given all the hype, so I'm content to sit in front of the big screen with friends and few coldies.

I got tickets in mid May for below face. :freaky
