Happy new years to everyone!!! hopefully '13 brings more adventure and more time on the saddle this year!!... In any event as some of you might know I'm planning a cross country run from Ontario to NT and swing down to BC then head back trans can all the way home. I'm just curious if there are any good overland routes along the way that I can mix in with the majority of my blacktop riding which, can provide a different perspective and stunning views of the back country? If anyone can point out any good spots starting from Ontario (East) Ending in NT, BC (WEST)
Take a look at the TCAT. The GPS files are online at Graveltravel.ca. The group that put this route together have done a fantastic job and will provide all the overland travel across Canada you could want. (about 16K).
ohhhh looks very promising... Let's see what I can dig up and hopefully it will correspond with the route I'm taking out west.
