i have been told it was a factory CZ trials bike, apparently it doesnt have the loom for lights, meaning it is a race bike standard. does any know?

after a year, model, and general info.

[IMG]It is an early CZ rigid frame enduro with a girder fork, possibly a 125 or 175. Here's a pic of a similar CZ model.

CZ trials bikes look much different, it's surly a CZ but defintly not a trials model or modificated CZ bikes for trial use.

I have some photos of trials CZ but not accessable just now, I will post them when I found the pic's for comparison.

ok so prior to starting this thread i have done an hour of googling, i just came to a limit of my knowledge about to what to actually search, but i too think it is a 125 just off the research i have done. but is also seems the 125s didnt come with the girder forks or the big seat. i have an inkling it is from the period 1938-1947 as after that the 125 model changed to having rear suspension.

i was hoping someone on here would just recognise it straight away. all i got from the other thread was 'try using google', yeah, thanks.

The bike in your pics has a twin pipe engine which I believe came out in 1950. Here's a pic of a 1950 twin pipe 125.

This is just a 50s CZ used and abused. Unfortunately the original fenders and lights were all taken off as was the seat.Nothing special about it. They were turned out by the thousands after the war as cheap transportation in Europe. Like cars, they were very much like their 30s and 40s counterparts as that tooling was still around.James Dean actually owned one in the 50s.
