    Route Question - Can anyone tell me about Tusquitte Rd., say between points C and G on this map. I've been looking for a less "slabby" route from Andrews back home because I hate running that slab between Andrews and Murphy. Just not sure what kind of road Tusquitte Rd. might be.

    tusiquitee is paved, tuni is gravel, left fork on going up tuni takes ya tru clear creek, alittle rougher rd that comes out at the same spot on tusquitte rd.


    ps. there is now a tusquitte tavern where the tusquitte mall used to be

    Tuni Rd is one of the roads that the USFS has closed this year because of slides. You could make it thru there,, but would have to go around the gate and risk getting a ticket if they see you. The only other gravel Rd. to get to Hayesville would be the Rainbow Springs Rd that turns off of Wayah Rd.
