Ok, help an ol' fart understand the only difference between a standard height suspension and a factory lowered F650 GS.
Am I understanding it is the rear shock, right or wrong? nothing funny going on w/ the front forks? or are both involved?

The front forks sit higher in the clamps to balance out the shorter rear shock but are standard forks. To convert one height to the other you replace the rear shock and adjust the forks appropriately. The low bikes don't have centre stands and have a shorter sidestand.

Hey thanks guys . I wanted to be sure that the rear shock was what lowered the bike ---- so now all I have to do is find a standard

F650 shock some where & I'll be back to square one which means I'll also be looking for a center stand as the factory lowered

version did not come equipped w/one

    Thanks again
