71,000k's, 44,000m's and I haven't even got it yet.

I'll know in 2 days if that's worth bragging about :dunno

Work done... a lot I hope.

05 Adventure...0.8 repairs yet. :rofl just got it yesterday, and we're supposed to get 4-8" of snow tonight. :vardy

herobikes 12-04-2005 08:07 PM

15,300 miles , no repairs , dead nuts reliable.2000 six days 640e

empedrado 12-04-2005 08:12 PM

Total on bike 13,000 miles, over 10,000 this year (I bought the bike used a year ago). 2003 640 Adv. Not a single problem other than a loose wire in a connection that caused the bike to misfire for awhile and then die entirely. Was able to diagnose myself and has run smoothly ever since.

2000 LC4

16000 miles, replaced starter clutch on the right side under flywheel!
Just need new tires.

markjenn 12-04-2005 10:06 PM

Around 15K, 5K with me on a 2000 Adv. If we're talking engine problems, none that I know of, although I have done a couple upgrades for problem areas.

13000 Miles, no major repairs but needs starter clutch looked at, needs new rear

braaap! 12-04-2005 11:23 PM

14500 kms @ 15mths old... several catastrophic failures of the nut holding the handlebars and now the damn ashtray's full.

Fuckit, time to get a 950!

'04, yeah, the faster orange one!

Castleman 12-05-2005 12:36 AM

Do I get a prize?
31,000 miles on my 99 LC4. Pulser coil, clutch cable and water pump seal are the only parts replaced other than normal services. I commute to work on it nearly everyday and take the mirrors off and do the family ride thing in our local deserts 2 or 3 times a month.

There is a LC4 in my town with 63,000 miles on the clock. I have no idea how reliable its been.

I truely use mine as a true DS bike. I hope KTM comes out with an affordable replacement soon.

MartinDKtm 12-05-2005 04:17 AM

Near 20 000km done in around 10 months and only trouble so far was the upper head part develop a leak at around 14 000km. Fixed it myself and no problem since. Lc4 rocks!

Tim 12-05-2005 05:16 AM

'02 13,000 miles. Oil leak at valve rocker carrier to head joint, front wheel replaced under re-call (after having a number of spokes snap).

Where's Jerome? :evil

His website says he did a 75,000 click service in October; that's over 45,000 miles for the retro crowd.

Does he win the date with Loaded? :evil

MotoMike 12-05-2005 09:12 AM

21,000 miles, 8,000 since I bought it. I just put a new clutch in and did the bearing swap even though the original looked fine. The only issue I have had is with the carb. The slide is plastic as is the female piece that is pressed into the carb. I guess the years of vibration and some grit that had gotten in there had taken their toll, but the parts were easily replaced and all is well :thumb
