Husqvarna TE/SM-610 Index Thread
I have been thinking it would be a good idea for to have an index thread like the LC4 folks so we can warehouse our collective info. It will save us effort in the future if we get ahead of the game by starting it now. So chime in and post threads you feel we should add. Also if you have ideas on how it should be organized please advise. At first we will just collect the threads and when there are enough we can start to actually organize and index them...

I think there has been a crap load of info about Jetting. Based on my reading and my personal jetting (I have a Sm610), I came up with the following.
Fuel Screw 1.75 turns out (minimizes decel popping and idles good)
JD Red needle at #5 position for the clip
Leo Slip on
Runs like a champ. Pulls hard and clean from Idle to redline.
I am in the sea level to 3K regime with 70-90 degree temps 60% humidity.
Very Happy with the 610, a great all around bike.
Maybe it should be organized into subgroups something like:
Something along those lines. Alot of guys make cool things for their bikes and it would be nice to have them posted for others to see and to give them ideas.
I have the 06 Owners, Part and service manuals. Anybody able to host them and post link here in this thread? One is 8 meg one is 30 meg and one is 19meg

I have a te610 and jetting seems to be all over the place.
the sm610 seems to be jetted much richer than the te.
doesn't make a lot of sense, but seems to be the case.

I posted a bunch of jetting info on speedzilla (dukepilot) and SMJunkie (huskysm610) for the SM610. Here are my current settings with LV full exhaust, some additional holes in my airbox cover and backfire screen removed:
JD Red Needle at 5th position
Fuel screw about 1.5 turns out
Boyesen pump plate
Power Now Plus
This is at sea level.
Also installed one of these with adjustable main and slow air circuits for fine tuning. This helped me eliminate most of the popping on decel.
With this combo of goodies on my carb, it pulls hard from down low with good midrange and decent top end. I'm happy with this setup and it is much improved from stock.
