Is the chain guide really necessary? :ear

The chain guide is not really necessary if you keep the chain at the right tension.

I tend to keep it on the loose side (always better than to have it too tight) and for peace of mind fitted the chainguide.

Is Touratech a public company? I want to buy some of their share.
Revenue and profit should be pretty good nowdays :D

RobbieO: Touratech USA will not mail the catalog to Canada, it costs way too much, you have to get in touch with the useless Touratech Canadian rep in Calgary who stocks NOTHING but is the TT rep in Canada :rolleyes

Tell us about the tail tidy.. did you cut the stock unit and relocate the lights?

GB, I was able to use the stock tail lights and plate light without cutting into the stock wiring harness.
I had to drill out the hole for the plate light and drill two smaller holes for their mounting bolts. None of it was tough.
I didn't want to go with the supplies LED lights and the resistors that come with the kit. I have this thing about cutting into wiring harness's.
The whole job took about 1/2 hour start to finish.
I bought it from a Canadian supplier for $115 (including sticker) and have the unopened LEDs if anyone is interested.
