:lurk |
I'm back.Well,I went swimming and that's why I was out for a while. It is boiling here and the sea is lovely. Not a good day for a ride but for a weekend time out on the beach.Last week I went to see Turkish motocross championship(Leg 4).This is the first time that I have been to motocycle challenges.I got stunning shots that I'm gonna share with you as well as some famous sights around here.
Ok, for now I'm going on with a city sightseeing in Dardanelles. I've been reading your ride reports and just want to thank you for taking the time to post them. I visited Istanbul, Ankara and Meshad among others when I travelled through Turkey heading east way back in 1969 :eek1 Your pics are bringing back a lot of good memories. Keep up the great work! :clap

Thanks for a great report and pictures!:clap I was in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Karamursel from 1971-74. I was lucky to have a job that allowed me to travel all over Western Turkey numerous times. I loved the country, the people and the food!! I would like to travel again to Turkey on a motorcycle and enjoy the great roads and scenery again!!
