Great riding suit

I have been watching this site on and off since day one, somewhat in disbelief that someone could really offer a good suit for under $300. I was also afraid order one without a close examination and a try on.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I stumbled across the Teiz booth by accident at the Long Beach motorcycle show. Ghazi is a real down to earth guy, is very easy to talk to and very helpful. I looked over the product line and tried on the Lombard V3. Ghazi even suggested that I walk over to the BMW booth and test sit a bike while wearing the suit. I was very impressed and walked away with a medium Lombard V3 in silver. I am 175lbs, 58 with a 29 inseam and a 32 waist. (The leather suit was gorgeous and tempting, very tempting)<o:p></o:p>

Yesterday I took it for a short ride on the Africa Twin and so far so good. The temperature was in the lower 50s and later the upper 40s. I wore the suit with its liner wearing only briefs and a t-shirt underneath. Ive lived in SoCal for 25 years now so my body hates the cold but I was very comfortable on the local roads and highways. The legs are a tad long for me so they ride up on the boots a bit, but the knee pads hit in just the right spot. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
Surprising to me was how comfortable the collar was. My name brand, high dollar jacket (Cost more than this suit!) literally rubs the skin off my neck.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
Now I need to take it on a long ride and see how it holds up.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
Thanks Ghazi, <o:p></o:p>

Just took a nice evening ride into NYC from Princeton area in NJ.

Only chilled on the finger tips and toes....32 degrees, and slushy. This stupid city still isn't plowed.

Hello Folks,
i have started a new thread for some of the jackets that we have left over from the shows.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=647994

We wont be making these jackets again (at least for a while) because we intend to mainly concentrate on the suits for now.

here is a copy of the post
-----------------------------

Hello folks,

We have a very limited quantity of our leather jackets left over form the shows.

Camino 2:

Updated with a new color scheme, all YKK zippers and more stretch panels. Includes a removable thermal liner. This is the most ventilated leather jacket on the market.
Read a review of the original Camino here.

Tioga 2:

The most exclusive color is now in stock updated with YKK zippers through out and more stretch panels.
Read a review of the original Tioga here.

Saratoga:

Updated with a new design, YKK zippers and being produced for the last time.
Read a review of the Saratoga here.

We are concentrating on one piece suits for now and have no idea when we will make these jackets again. The Saratoga wont be made again as we will continue to focus more on apparel on a more touring oriented fit.

Limited production and availability make these jacket a collector items. They all come with a lifetime warranty and all sorts of premium materials.

Only one color option for each. Available sizes are S,M,L,XL,2XL. Adhere to the size chart for proper sizing.
Please feel free to post questions here or contact us at 888-808-8349.

Ghazi, Will the commute suit be available for purchase at the NYC show?

I've sent my Lombard V3 back as it would not fit in my topbox along with my other stuff.

A local dealer is organizing a Bus Trip to the NYC show and I'm keen to try the suit on at the show before pickup in case a custom order is required.

To anyone on the fence about the Lombard - this suit is high quality and is very, very reasonably priced!

V1 still in service. If I can free up some $ I'd like to replace it with a V3 for the YKK zippers.

I am sorry to report that my suit has a problem again. This time it is the full length zipper. Two teeth are missing near the bottom of the left leg. All I did was go to unzip the suit and it would not unzip all the way. I then noticed the two teeth missing. Not laying on the floor, but totally missing. I did not hit anything or jam anything. Knowing the TEIZ guarantee, I am not too worried about them making it right, but I am frustrated that I can not use the suit for a spell at this cold time of year. I just got back from a cold ride and was very happy with the way the suit performed, until I went to take it off. Oh well, I will see what the warranty people say. Sorry to vent.
