I love the look of those gravel tracks.......perfect Ural roads...or any combo, come to think of it.

Yer mate looks a bit daft virtually hanging off the seat on that tarmac right hander though.

Howdy FR700,

Having dueled with Vernon and his KLR-hack for the last four years I can attest to his rig being able to go into a corner at speed. :deal

FYI. Traveling in your neck of the woods is on my bucket list! Thanks for the pics and taking us along on the ride. Almost feel as if I've been there.

Do not doubt it .
Rider skill with that setup I suspect would play a very large role though .

I wanna go!

AceRph 09-08-2010 10:28 AM

I ate a lot of dust, but it tasted good.

Thanks for the terrific hospitality, Vernon.

What a great place to ride!

RedMenace 09-17-2010 10:01 PM

Marc showed up for the Advanced S/TEP Class and Eastern Columbia Gorge Mini Tour today. It rained a little bit tonight, so it shouldn't be too dusty when we go riding this weekend....

No dust??!!

Have fun fellas!

RedMenace 09-18-2010 07:03 PM

WE finished up the Advanced S/TEP class portion of the weekend this morning. Despite the dire weather forecast, we never got rained on and it was actually quite warm...
