Rear master cylinder leak?

Noticing that when I engage the rear brake, I'm getting small bubbles of fluid leaking out around the boot on the master cylinder. I'm on the low side for fluid level, but I've never changed it (actually noticed this when I was looking at the system in preparation to change it). My brakes don't seem to be affected. Should I just change the fluid and watch the level, or is this a warranty issue that needs to be addressed ASAP?

Leaking brake fluid needs to be attended to ASAP. If your fluid can get out, air (and moisture) can get in, both of which can prevent the brakes from working and potentially corrode delicate bits.

Dito, especially if u have abs. Replace right away asuming it is brake fluid leaking and not just water trapped under the boot.

hmmmm...I wonder. The little droplets appear when I'm engaging the rear break; I'm pretty sure that its fluid but I did just wash it...

Mine too

After 3 years and 60K km. mine started to leak as well. It's been worn out faster than I would like it to do. I am out of warranty for over a year. Is there a rebuild kit I can order online, or do I have to pay a hefty price for the OEM mastercylinder?

I have similar on 24,000miles (40, 000km)
Is there any repair kit?

Brake fluid feels, smells (and taste) different then water. Pick your test.
