Greater Flugistan Multi-tag
I was thinking that there's a certain inequality to how tag-o-ramas are played in that jobs get in the way. Or maybe technology. Certainly geography.
So let's try to fix that and level the playing field with something that still requires riding, thought, strategy, and is file-photo proof.
On Friday night, 11/25, around 9PM I'm going to post a list of 7 items/things that you need to photo "collect" with your bike. The pictures must be done in daylight, and you have to have a red towel/rag/neckerchief draped somewhere on the bike.
You can plan your strategy Friday night and go out starting Saturday to get the photos.
The "winner" is the first person to post with all 7 items in it.
All photos must be in a single post. That means 7 different photos in one post.
If someone else has posted a winning thread, don't post yours
Since this is a regional game, the general guideline should be things that everyone has a reasonable chance of getting. For example; if you wanted to use a shoreline/beach, it should be a lake or ocean shoreline/beach; not just an ocean shoreline/beach ('m going to include this in the post as well).
Tagged objects must be "real" not toys, models, etc. of the objects, unless a toy/model/etc. is explicitly called for
Once a person "wins" a challenge he/she gets to post a list of 7 items, again choosing a different easily transportable thing (like a blue towel/rag etc.) to be the marker.
Needless to say, the person who wins is excluded from participating in the challenge he/she puts up.
I don't care if you trailer your bike to each place. Great for when the snow's on the ground I guess. If you're anal enough to care about winning, I'm generous enough to let you demonstrate your pathology :lol3
You can even do this as a team if you want- as long as the single post has all the pictures in it. I figure there will be a tradeoff between the efficiency of shared knowledge/riding and the inefficiency of coordination. Plus, it will amuse me to think about all the planning/plotting and issues that will come up :lol3
Simple enough? Did I miss anything?
