I've just moved to AbuDhabi and looking for riding mates. There are some nice wadis and a lot of desert here to ride, but going alone is not advisable most of the times.

Yeah yeah... i know there is UAEride, but its spammed out now a days and nobody responds when u post up a ride plan.

I've been longing to do a ride to the wadis and just this last weekend went to Fujairah. The sand storm was real bad from AbuDhabi - Sharjah though.

Keen on doing another wadi ride this weekend. You game ?

West, you mean (your location says "Riyadh") ? or are you in Oman ?

BTW, i used to be in Riyadh ('06-07) and then in Al-Khobar ('07-'11). Can't say i miss the place :lol3, but a few things/aspects of living in Saudi are definitely missed by us.

Do msg me if you ride over in to "our" part of the desert anytime.

I stand corrected! I can't figure how I was thinking west and typed east. I hope to eventually make it to Dubai (or was that Abu Dhabi) as I see there's fellow out of there running multi-day off-road tours on KTMs. From the pics I've seen the riding looks great.

The riding is definitely much diverse here, the sand deserts are there for sure, but there are also lots of rocky wadis, canyons to explore. Couple of twisty mountain roads too :clap
