What is the actual weight of my bike?
 

This may seem like a newbish question but I have seen reports and specs listed all over the internet ranging from 436 lbs all the way to 500+ lbs. I realize I have to account for my rack and crash bars, but throwing that aside, what is the ACTUAL weight of the ktm adventure? Wet/dry?

454.7 lbs dry. It's in the owners manual:)

Crash bars, luggage rack, gas , oil,tool kit etc. Don't plan on riding her under 500 lbs.

Which I do not have unfortunately. Bought used.

Get a couple of bathroom scales and roll 'er up.

Most truck scales are on even when closed. Take a run to your local weigh station.

You can get them at the official KTM site too, but the other one is easier.

Take your worst estimate and add 50 lbs. Seriously. I had my bike trimmed of all excess weight (single exhaust, single front brake rotor, Talon hub, no crash bars, no rear racks, no luggage rack, etc.) for a big rally and it still weighed in at over 450lbs with only 2 gallons of fuel. They are big bastards.

Just ride into a truck weigh station, let us know what they say!
