Not in my neck of the woods (with the emphasis on woods)

First off we are talking TE as in Husky yes?

This is a 2-Stroke thread the TE is a four stroke.

I have the TE250 and if it had more snot I would not complain, but it is an excellent tight woods bike. It's not for road riding as the trans is way to close ratio. 42 mph is it's crusing speed although they tell me it will go as fast as 75 at redline! It will loft the wheel but not with a just turn of the throttle, you have to force her with some clutch. This makes log crossing and stump jumping a little harder. My modded KDX200 is every bit as good if not a better tight woods bike and it will jump out from under you with just a crank of the throttle and, as far as I can tell you can't break it!:D

Where I ride bigger is not better!

Correct, sorry for the confusion.

If money is not a problem get the 300. Better power delivery all around. The 250 is more peppy while the 300 is more mellow but has more torque.
Heck, buy both and I will ride whichever one you dont like.

Couple of questions re the Husaberg 300

Is it registrable ie ADR compliant ? (Australia)

Is the engine the exact same as the KTM 300
