Going outside again.

Today was last day of work. So I'm leaving tuesday for AZ. First to Tok, then south to Haines to catch the ferry to Bellingham on the 1st of Oct. I'm wimping out on riding thru Canada this late in the season. This bike ain't got heated grips...:D Thanks for another good summer. (a bit damp tho).

Do you spend the winters in AZ and summers in Alaska? We live in Mesa and I would love to travel to Alaska. My dream ride is camping off a dual sport while traveling through AK.

AZ here I come

I plan to spend part of the coming winter in Tucson. I keep a 1150 GS in Saddlebrooke for winter riding. Should hit town in Febuary. Look for me.

Yep.

Car tire on back? Knobby thing on front? Probably airplane landing lights on it somewhere? That would be my guess.

Been in Haines for a couple days. Getting on the ferry tonite. Had to tuck behind a snowplow on the Cilikat pass. I hope that's the end of snow riding for the rest of this ride.

Spent over 25 years hanging around here in the winter.......spent the last several winters at our place in AZ.:huh:deal:norton

I would do the same. AZ is great to ride in winter, summer not so much. Whereas, Alaska is great to ride in summer but not so much in winter. Enjoy.
