Current Mileage/Odometer Reading

So, I've had the bike for coming 2.5 wonderful years and averaging 1500 miles per month. Mulling the reality the bike will probably at 75-80K miles in the next year or two depending if it goes to Alaska or not. I am really trying to figure out when I should be looking to sell off because it gets into "Bathtub" failure curve.

What is your current odometer reading?

Currently at about 22k, Ill be over 25 by the end of the year. Just replaced wheel bearings, fork seals. But that's about the only Issues I have had.

I've had my F800 for just over 2 years - no problems, and I only replaced the original chain at 17000 miles!

I purchased my bike in late March of this year & I am currently around 7200 miles. Loving this bike! :D

How many miles do you have?

Hey Inmates,

Please post your current mileage!

I use my F800GS as a daily rider and have 29,000 miles on her. No major issues. Interested in hearing about issues with higher mileage bikes since thats where mines headed.

And can anyone confirm that the cam chain tensioners need to be replaced somewhere around 50,000 miles? And perhaps if you can post the price you paid for that service.

Thanks so much for any input!

Ahh thanks, as much as I am on here I never saw that. But anyway, still looking to get info on high mileage issues and cam chain costs. Maybe someone will provide

I think a good part of your questions will be answered here:

D.I.Y. Cam Chain Replacement

and otherwise if you want a price information you can always call your dealer :o)

Maybe you can do a non-discriminatory "How many KMS do you have?"

I feel sooo left out :cry
