Rebuilding 89 KTM 350. Need parts

I love this bike! It's in pretty rough shaped tho, I need to find parts websites to restore it to its former glory. I got the bike running now rebuilt the carb picking up parts today to rebuild the front forks. I need everything else exhaust, radiator hoses top end kit, all that good stuff. If you guys could help me I would really appreciate it. If I knew how to post pics I would.

ktmtalk is the place to go. I've got a full 1999 WP 50mm fork from the bar clamp/Applied top clamp, stock lower, legs, axel to the wheel and brake, needs seals but near perfect if you want to upgrade. I'm in NJ. Cheap too, off a 20 hour 125SX. Great condition and might be the best forks they built till about 2009.

I don't think they will fit I have 40 mm stock forks

i might have some stuff. no motor parts. i have 2 very early 4 strokes (87 - 88 i think) parts bikes here - would have to look. i think the forks/shock/wheels/some bodywork may crossover... pm me a list of parts you need, and i can figure out what these things are exactly, and send ya some pics of whatever parts might work for you.

I sold them today but no matter, you can use pretty much any newer KTM front end, the only "big" mod is adding steering stop tabs or a threaded boss for them to the frame. The set I sold is going on a Maico.

gee given how overwhelming popular 350 KTM's were in 1989 it is indeed shocking that there isn't more interest and support in them on advrider 23 years later. :fight

The main problem are spare parts in general as KTM went in bankrupty in the beginning 90's when I remember right.
So any parts and expecially plastic's, engine case (the magnesium case on the clutch and waterpump side corrode very quick),
clutch parts, even piston's are a problem.

The "oldie but goldie" section of KTMTalk is really a good ressource.

Anyway good luck to your rebuild, these bikes still running and complete
will be rare bird's in a couple of years I believe.
