What is in your KTM 640 tool kit?

Didn't get any tools with my 640 ADV when I bought it used. So now it's time to fix that.
What tools do you bring with you riding? The KTM OEM tool kit?
While I was googling i found this thing http://www.dcconceptsllc.com/toolBag.htm which at first seemd like a great idea and problably is until you crash and get a tire iron couple of inches into your back

Velocibiker:
I had already read your thread, didn't find many more on the subject sorry for posting same old questions for you guys. So would you recommend just buying the OEM kit instead of assembling something or a third party kit (is there is such a thing)

Are pretty good !

Joking aside, I use the OEM tool kit but I've added zip tyes, extra fuses, 11mm wrench, allen wrenches, knife, tire spoons, magnet, condom, and extra sockets.

I got one of these just to put in the fanny pack... handy as hell to keep things tiddy and it doesn't weigh much either.
Have several zip ties stuffed down the drive hole.

Mine came direct from Ready Ratchet... but these guys have a good price.

These are also good tools:

Cruz Tools

At least you get a bag AND tools. Most either sell one or the other.

All depends on what you feel you need. Some guys (and gals) carry EVERYTHING. Some just the bare neccesities.

I'm kinda in between. I supplement the OEM kit with some quality 3rd party tools, but for the most part, I THINK the OEM kit is sufficient to fix most of what you'd be able to fix out on the trail with the exception of a flat.

So, knowing what's in the OEM kit, you can go buy all 3rd party bits & make your own. Probably can be done for less then the OEM kit, and you'd have some better tools. Do what's going to make you the most comfortable.

And really, if you want a detailed list of what's in the OEM kit, just PM me and I'll get it to ya.
