Removing the alternator cover?

will oil drip out? How much?

I'm going in to fix my balancer shaft seal and was wondering what I mess it might be taking that cover off. I really did not want to have to give it an oil change in the process.

Put bike on center stand

Put 2x4 under Left leg to tilt bike away from you.

Have some rags under the cover when you remove it, but not much should be lost.

No oil change needed.
