New Denali DX1 lights - any info?

I was looking at the Denali lights from twisted throttle today and there is a reference to a DX1 model which is apparently brighter than the D2s that I was going to buy.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and there is a comparison which mentions them. There is nothing on the twisted throttle site and a quick google dosen't turn up anything either.............

Every time I call their tech support it's a good experience.
Might try that.

Well, I'm confused.
I have the (round) Denali D2D lights. Supposedly much brighter than the (square) older D1 model.
According to the web page, the newest, brightest lights are the DM1:

The Denali DM1 Micro LED Light Kit is the newest addition to the Denali line of LED Lighting from Twisted Throttle. Don't let the small size and weight fool you, with an effective beam distance of 240 feet, these little buggers are BRIGHT!
But, the photo comparison doesn't seem to match the description:

Hmmm....I'm not seeing it either. Maybe they're comparing size to output ratio?? To me the D2's make more sense as an auxilary light to provide a broad area of light (esp for the twisties), then just use the high beam if you need more distance... Thanks for the comparison pic

Called Twisted Throttle today and asked about the Denali DX1. Person there wasn't able to provide any information, not even an issue date.

I see it. You can't have both. Especially with led lights. With led, you can have wide or long beams. The dx is a long range light, therefore the beam will be narrow. Exactly what I'm looking for to spot big brown speed bump in the night also known as moose. Wide close up light matters not to me.

MUCH better value than the Twisted Throttle's overpriced stuff.

Talk to Jim Hamlin, the new store guy at TT. Comes from a 20+ year background in bikes and is a master mach. as well as a top notch suspension guy.

There's lots of good folks on this forum and I try to spread it around some.

If you're going to spend that much coin, why not just get the BD Squadron LEDs?

(no connection other than spending to much time comparing lights)
