San francisquito
Has anyone been to San Francisquito this fall? I heard that it has deteriorated to a point that there isn't any accomodation for a non-camper(tent,bag,food prep equipment) It used to be rather crude but a enjoyable place to spend a couple of days and nights.:freaky

I was there in late September and the place was a ghost town. The restaurant was closed and there was no one around. I can't comment on the accommodations as I only stayed there for 30 minutes.

That used to be my favorite stop in Baja. Damn nice time back in the day:clap

So, what killed it off ?

There are really two San Frans - the left split takes you out to the cove, and I've never gone there. You can see the layout, and I remember a 'camping' sign. This cove is very pretty and looks very protected for watercraft.
Has anybody been there and talked to those folks? |

I remember hearing rumors someone had purchased San Francisquito - I hope it turns out to be true. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2 |
It was open in October
I was there in mid October and it was open. The restaurant was functioning and there were people staying in the Cabanas. Not many, but some.
The guys who use the trailer from So Cal were there and catching little fish from the shore. The water was crystal clear. The road getting in was pretty torn up. |
