For those interested, here's my pictures of the past events:
2010: https://picasaweb.google.com/1000263...562/DesertDaze 2011: https://picasaweb.google.com/1000263.../DesertDaze02# 2012: https://picasaweb.google.com/1000263...DesertDaze2012 It's a great event for those that can make it:freaky Kinda funny to reminisce over the past few years, from humble beginnings with my homemade "deer rack" as I affectingly call it(no idea how it even lasted half the event:huh), then borrowing el yota, then finally having my own tow vehicle:D |
Is there a list of real motels nearby? Benson? Is it feasible to run in from Benson each morning? Thanks.

There's a lodging link on the website (www.dualsportdesertdaze.com) that lists the 'local' hotels (I've cut and pasted them below). Benson is slightly closer than Willcox and riding in each day is feasible but, you do miss out on the yummy breakfast and camaraderie.
Mom & Pop Benson Motel 185 W 4th St 520.586.3346 El Cochise Motel & Trailer Pk 825 E 4th St 520.586.9314 Quarter Horse Motel & Rv Park 800 W 4th St 520.586.3371 Sahara Motel 1150 S US Highway 80 520.586.3611 Silver Legacy Lodge 825 E 4th St 520.586.9314 Hotel Chains Motel 6 Super 8 Holiday Inn Days Inn Best Western |
