Glad that some of your 180,000 miles were spent HERE in CO...Independence Pass and Durango, et al. for sure.
Actually thought I recognized the ole Comfort Inn? Stayed there often on the way to Phoenix during Thanksgiving. 27 degrees one morning upon departure with FROST all over the bike. Heated grips sure felt great. After the scoot...look forward to a trike and another 180,000, Congrats. |
Also glad you spent some time here in NC our outer banks are really nice.. Good photo's too..

Way to go Paul/glad you got to really enjoy your GS!:D

Congrats on all of your miles on your GS and other your bikes, Paul. I can only hope I'm still riding when I'm 81, and whatever I'm riding then is irrelevant!

Hey Paul. Are you riding the scoot to Finger Lakes next year?

A certain song made famous by Johnny Cash comes to mind.... :thumb

When I'm no longer comfortable riding a motorcycle the next step will be one of the high performance scooters. |

Did you notice the windshield...?
I had the good fortune of meeting Paul and his steed at a gas station in Lexington, VA. That was the first time (and only since) that I'd seen an actual "BMW Million Mile Club" medallion.
You can see it on his windshield, right above the headlight. Absolutely amazing! Quote:

Hey Paul, In one of the photo's above there sits a nifty digital temp display. is it waterproof? Who makes it? Sorry for the hijack.
