Wow :clap looks great zipper. Do you have enough clearance for your oil filter? I only ask because I missed on one on a mock up :eek1. Keep up the great work and have fun with it. Bill (CSM backroom)

Hmmmm !

Very nice Zipper, you must have gotten ends and hardware from Claude and tig welding the whole thing is very cool from the looks of your shop you've been down all these roads before. If I did this again I'd use an R rather than the GS
If your planning on a steering mod here's what I did, you've got the talent and it won't be much work, it works well fork angle stays the same and less load on front spring. DB

No doubt a great thanks is owed Claude for the ideas, but I'm sure he's more than pleased with your outstanding interpretation of them! I can't match your skills in my wildest dreams but thank you for sharing those ideas, it gives me some hope even in my crude skills. I see a couple of things I'd planned for my build and your expression of them is really a great help with envisioning the finished product, thanks!

Yes I wondered if you where welder enough but this is not your first rodeo, would have been cool to use chromoly for subframe and sidcar frame and keep the whole deal light as possible,I don't know what your budget is,but the steering mod is really worth doing. I'm new to this sidecar business but I'm learning (spending) fast.It almost seems one thing begets another if one gets an auto wheel in the back you shortly notice that the 19" GS wheel in the front is way short of traction for braking and under steers pretty easily pretty soon you've spent enough for a mini cooper.LOL DB
