Rukka Merlin jacket/pants vs. Aerostich Transit jacket/pants
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with either the Rukka Merlin jacket/pants or the Aerostich Transity jacket/pants?
Thanks for any input. |
there's an Aerostich Transit jacket in flea market right now... hit him up for feedback and why he's selling.

Done, thanks. :beer Anyone else? |
Any update on the feedback regarding the Transit? And, while we're at it, anyone have any experience with both?

I've had my transit suit for thee years.
I bought my suit three years ago after reading a report by Yermo Lamers
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=633227 Last year at this time I put a sidecar on my bike and have been riding steadly all winter In the winter I use a Gerbings heated jacket, I wear merino wool long underware and thats about it. This last year I've put on close to 5k on the outfit and never been wet. In warmer weather its just a t-shirt the jacket I leave unzipped and a large vent across the back gets rid or the air I believe the material used is the same as the Rukka Merlin I like the leather because it's quieter to ride in |
Just an afterthought you don't want to gain weight after getting this :rofl

I have a Transit, what do you want to know? Mine has never been in rain, live in the southwest, the heat coating makes the surface temp lower, but it's still a thick black leather set of gear.
