Burkina faso

Anyone out there riding Burkina? What kind of bikes are available?

Rode through Burkina a year ago. Didn't see too many bikes for sale but I'm sure you could find some somewhere. Bamako and Senegal and Accra have a pretty good selection of older bikes.

What did you come across in Ghana? Any idea on prices?

I saw more bikes in Ghana, with a big bike market in Takoradi where I saw some older models big bikes, these will probably cost around 1000 euro. A new little chinese 125 cc bike can be had from 600 euro. Accra probably has many bike shops too.
In Ouagadougou, Burkina, you could contact Guillaume, he's a hotel owner who rides bikes and organises tours.
