Schuberth S2 and Sena SMH10

Can I mount a Sena SMH10 on a Schuberth S2? Wondering if the mounting clip will work with that helmet. I haven't had a chance to see one in person and appreciate any insight.

Thanks.

I would think yes. The clip goes between the shell and liner. Even if that's not an option, the Sena also comes with a double sided tape mounting option (they don't recomend this) which is probably fine or they wouldnt have shipped it with the headset. So far I have mounted mine to HJC, Airoh, another HJC dirt helmet and looked at a Shoei that it should go on with no issues...

Right now I have it mounted on a Shoei X-11 with no problems but it's time for a new helmet and I'm really digging the Schuberth. I'll stop by the dealer today and check it out.

I believe the S2's sun visor switch is positioned on the side of the helmet where the Sena would normally be mounted. I had a friend consider this setup and for some reason it would not work with the clip mount. It would have to be mounted with the adhesive pad.

I don't think it will work on the S2, as the slider for the internal sun shade is right where the Sena would mount. Even the stick-on mount without the clamp would still mount in the same place so that wouldn't solve the problem. Take a look at the Shoei GT Air - similar to the S2 with internal sun visor, but the slider for the sun shade is in a place that allows you to mount a BT headset.

Just checked out the S2. There's really no way the Sena would clip on because of the shade slider, which earlier posters pointed out.

I think the GT Air is a better option. The fit is better for me and it'll accomodate the Sena clip.
