RIDE FOR PEACE Adventure : Solo Ride till the Edge of the World

After wandering 76 countries in the Asia, Africa and Europe,
the time is coming to explore America and Australia.

Armed with R1150GSA
and few English words,
I start my solo ride from Jakarta
on April 23rd, 2006.

Never thought that I've been visited so
many countries where previously I could only dream.
Places I could only see on pictures or television.
Being a witness of amazing cultural differences are
an unforgettable lifetime experiences.

I'm Not a Billionaire !
I just ordinary person with a big dream.
So, if I can do it anyone can
Just save the money and courage as much as you can
Set the date and Go !!!

Some information will be usefull for someone
but useless to the others...

My regards to all my friends I’ve met or never meet along the journey,
thanks for all support, attention, idea and information you’ve given.

Wish you have a great adventure
and
see you somewhere in this planet...

The Khyber Pass
North-West Frontier Province

http://imageshack.us/a/img845/562/dscn6489advrider.jpg
is a mountain pass connecting Afghanistan and Pakistan,
cutting through the northeastern part of the Spin Ghar mountains.
An integral part of the ancient Silk Road,
it is one of the oldest known passes in the world.
Throughout history it has been an important trade route
between Central Asia and South Asia and a strategic military location.
The summit of the pass is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) inside Pakistan
at Landi Kotal (wikipedia)
Khyber Pass is known as an unsafe area for foreigner
The area controled by Warlords
who have they own troops and rules...
