you rule.

Good for you, mate. That looks awesome. A friend of mine flew his Honda C90 out to Malaysia and rode it home to London. Granted, his head isn't quite on straight but it does show that the perception that we need a bigger bike is woefully incorrect.

nice setup and pics!

Graniteone 07-07-2013 08:01 PM

That looks like fun. Kind of a mini me sort of thing going on.

kubiak 07-07-2013 08:01 PM

what area are the pics taken. i live close to the sierras and ride there about once a week.

ShapeShifter 07-07-2013 08:42 PM

Thanks all. Its fun. This is the 8th custom mini bike I have built. As you can imagine, the 8 inch wheels don't exactly glide over the obstacles like a bigger bike but it makes a fun and challenging ride.

These pics were taken between 6000 and 8000 feet near Fordyce Lake. About 40 miles North East of Lake Tahoe.

Bad ass, I've always wanted to put a baja designs lighting kit, a bigger tank, and some wolfman luggage on my BBR pit bike. It's got the 88cc high compression top end, 107 crank, I've added a manual clutch, SP-5 front fork, extended swing arm, BBR frame, billet wheels, I could go on and on..

I've got 3 2003 XR50's that I just will not get rid of.

I raced them semi professionally locally for a few years, that was the most fun I think I've ever had on two wheels.

I had one for each class, spec class, modified, and unlimited. (49cc, 88cc, 107cc)

It would be entertaining to see how far I could get on a pit bike. What a freaking blast!

Those old Hondas are cool but in the uk no z50 were road legal and they have become very costly to by. I was going to get a cfr70 copy with 12inch or 14inch wheels and 140cc or 150cc motor so it be fun for dirt tracks ect but the 5l tank are just to small

COOL
got a few Z50's myself, great fun for running over to the shop / pub or have the kids cruising around....

Here are a few other mini thumpers I have built. All street legal except the yellow Z50.
