Great video. My wife loved it as well and would love to do a trip like that.
The weather is getting worth and the hours of sunshine are less....
For this reason I am going to describe our tour a little bit more in detail http://klr650.de/images/smiles/smile.gif
Somehow we had the idea of travelling to Scotland...mhh... rain, fog and even more rain? after some investigation in the internet we made the decision.....Let's go to the islands http://klr650.de/images/smiles/cool.gif
So first we collected a lot of travel guides and maps from friends.... but we didn't have a read of everything...because of lack of space we took photos and put them on our tablet..
The day of our departure drew closer and we found the remaining things together...
A view on the mileage ...
Lash everything together.... Ready to ride http://klr650.de/images/smiles/smile.gif
Finally our journey could begin! At our first day we went to Bastogne...
good, this border crossing is nothing special for us anymore (20km from home), but belongs to the album somehow...
After about 100km we saw the first thunderstorm! Dark clouds over Bitche...well, short break at the bakery...
we weren't the only ones searching for protection at the bakery, but we wanted to start the engine again...so we put on our waterproofs...
after 10km we had the first thunderstorm behind us and we could enjoy the sleepy France...
to the left and the right there were sometimes bunkers to discover http://klr650.de/images/smiles/eek.gif
We crossed the next two borders...
next stop: Arlon! visitation of a really nice church
here we go again.... the church from the inside...
and it seems like they bless the bikers, too
arrival at Bastogne...
conversation with some other passengers
