Wolfman New 2014 Product-The Boulder Beta

New for 2014 Wolfman is Going Universal.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Introducing the Boulder Beta Rear Bag.

The Boulder Beta Rear Bag is latest step in the evolution of our Duffel-Bag-with-Legs. Go further with extra capacity and extra stability. Now with waterproof liners.

Over ten years of evolution rest behind the new Boulder Beta Rear Bag. Our original Duffel-Bag-with-Legs has evolved and improved over the years, and is now even more versatile, stable, and easy to use. It is designed to fit Medium and Big Adventure Bikes, and also fits Sport, Standards and Cruisers. A contoured seat channel hugs the bike and "legs" add capacity, help keep the weight low, and don't interfere with the rider.

Full Ballistic-Vinyl construction for durability. The bottom is triple-layered with 3/8" foam, ballistic vinyl and Slip-Not for strength and maximum stability. The solid 4-point mounting system comes on and off the bike quickly and easily. Heavy duty 1.5" and 2" compression straps keep the load snug.

A wide, crescent zipper gives full access to contents. Inside, a wide Clear Mesh pocket keeps small items handy; the pocket doubles as a compression layer to cinch internal items, making opening and closing the Boulder Beta easier. (Pocket can be removed.) Three tailored waterproof liners keep gear dry and slide into place to simplify packing. Or just load up the 60+ liters of space will all the gear needed for a weekend or longer trip. Need more space? Use the included Quick-Clip duffel straps to add an additional duffel to the outside of the bag -- try our waterproof Renegade Duffel.

Been following Qs report and wondered about that bag. Looks like a great option.

OK boss, I gotta question...

Think this'll fit with Rocky mountains on the 990 Adventure? I'm doing the return from the Alcan 5000 next year with my 12-year old and was planning on running the Large duffel I already own on the rear rack and the Rocky Mountains, this looks like it might be a better solution....

Good question! The Boulder Beta is actually desigened as a stand alone bag and actually sits where the passenger does on the 990. It also functions better with no side racks and no saddle bags. the best solution for you with your 12 year old and the Rocky Mountains is a Large Expedition Duffel. Plus it will save you some $ :freaky

I like the idea and design, and you might catch the attention of the sport crowd if the bottom of each "leg" had a heat resistant material to allow use with high-pipes..I know it's something a lot of them are looking for. Just a thought..

Beta Bag

I have used this bag for may years on several bikes BMW RT, KTM 950 Adventure and KTM 525 EXC and it has worked perfect on every one of them.

This bag is 100% have to own if you travel or dual sport on a bike.

Looks great! I had one for a while and moved to a Giant Loop. Bad idea - the Wolfman bag was great! I'll be saving for one of these.

Very cool bag.

Which wolfman tank bag is pictured above on the super tenere? It looks like the Expedition but I didn't think they offered any color but black.

You are correct that is a Large Expedition in yellow...we discontinued the yellow and only make them in black now:D
