Thanks again for the info, very helpful. The '92 is going for $2000 the '86 is $2350. It was $2400 but the seller said that the petcock is leaking fuel when cold started and it needs to replaced....

Thanks for the responses. The '86 is maybe more $ cause of the lower miles and maybe being more 'classic'? It's a red, white, and blue one. The 92 is the black with purpleish letters.

Yeah, my commute would be one way 45miles on the hwy. I work 24hrs on 48 off so it wouldn't be everyday. I've read it's great fun in twistys, I just wonder how it is on the highways.

I want to buy the 05 640 in the flea market. My biggest concern is that the closest dealer is 100 miles away and I'm not a good wrench. Oil changes seem pretty straight forward, it's the valve work...
