Just an FYI... I sent an e-mail to Nexx USA last week and received a very prompt reply. They plan to release the XD1 in the US in late March or early April of 2015. That is worth the wait for me.

Having said that, I will tell you that venting in the pants is not NEARLY as big a deal as the jacket...

Only if you don't click it to the locked position. When fully latched, there is no way for water to intrude but locking it isn't as easy as I think it should be.
