Pretty individual experience - I love my TKC-80's front and back - although yes, the rear wears out a lot faster than the front. Works just fine on and off road even in corners. Really nice though...

I also have the Hubba Hubba and if you purchase from MEC (mountain equipment coop) they are hassle free for repairs - they repaired my old poles no charge and no hassles.

Just traded my 2013 in on the 2015 XCX. Absolutely no regrets back when I traded my thruxton in on my first tiger XC! Most fun I have had riding in the last 30 years!
