My 2006 has similar writing on the bottom of the engine. I bought the bike from the first owner and it was all stock, so I'm guessing its probably markings from the factory.

I'm using mapsource. Thanks, that was the info I was looking for. Just follow the tracks. Since it won't navigate, I've heard keeping the map at 800 feet/.2 of a mile is the best zoom on the map.
