I had a '76 with progressive springs front and shocks rear, braided brake lines, and an electronic ignition.
Same results, no sportbike, but very capable, and comfortable for an 80mi/day commute.

I replaced my seat foam and cover on my 93 S with a Seat Concepts replacement. Never going to use the stock one again.
Cover is in great shape, bike only had 5500mi on it when seat was replaced....

Had a GL 1000 for many years, one of the best bikes I ever had. Sold it when my commute to work was 6 miles, and the kids were infants. I will have another one someday.

It's the dried up factory lube in the tach.

WTB stock rear fender for 93S model. Trimmed mine because the Yosh exhaust melted it. Had to return to stock because the fuel line was too close to the header pipe when I put the Acerbis tank on.
