I think the maine issue is KTM cheaping out and not giving the 1190 a PDS shock (the 950/990s all came w/ a PDS shock). The Progressive Damping System prevents the bottoming out on hard hits.

The rear tail under section is not supported after the two red arrows, yet it has to hold up everything inside the green circle, plus the 2-3 lbs ECU which sits where the green arrow is.

I ended up getting a good deal on a complete 5.3 gal tank with fuel pump and all from an inmate.

So that's the route I took.

The luggage rack cross brace was untouched.

It looks like the rear wheel/fender tray just dropped onto the wheel.
