Way way way overpriced. The front is an easy DIY thing, the local suspension guru lowered my rear shock for I think $50. It would have been a bit more but he was in there anyway doing some valving....

The CV carb should keep the mixture close at any elevation, that's what CVs do well.

But if something isn't right inside that could be way off. Changes in the air box can effect the elevation...

What kind of RPM is it doing when it won't go any faster? Clutch slipping, brakes dragging, anything like that?
One other thing to think about, since you live at high elevation, is your carburetor...

I usually just take the road with the most curves in view, or the one which goes up hill the steepest, or just take the smaller road at every intersection and see what happens from there.

I just had the local suspension guy shorten my shock, the bike is about 2" lower now. Next I need to shorten the side stand, as it is the bike tips over on flat surfaces.:rofl

Same here, but I just ordered a bunch of parts for a few bikes, including some stuff for a 1977 Suzuki. They said those will take about a week, but the stuff for the modern bikes will ship right...

Don't know about a DR350 clutch, never heard it yet, but on some other models, if those springs are loose in there it will cause an annoying clutch rattle at idle.

Don't have a speedo on my 350/440, but I have seen some air cooled engines go well over 100,000 miles with no need for rings. It depends a lot on how you ride it and take...
