No leaks that I can tell

The plates are clamped down pretty close together, and I haven't noticed any water leaking in. However, I fell down a few times with the cases, and they are now warped so there's a bit of a leak...

Drill four holes in the lid, mount the backing plate inside the lid. The mount that holds the Rotopax goes on top the lid but it sticks up a bit. Buy the locking Rotopax mount, because the bottle is...

wanting honest opinions of handling a GS1200

I took my 12GS to Rawhyde last year, followed by their Base Camp Alpha tour. I'd never been on single track or gnarly terrain in my life. I did OK during the training, but the Base Camp Alpha days in...

Ding in the rim?

They could've damaged the rim when fighting to get the tyre on the wheel. Regardless, if the problem is repeatable, I would ask for a re-install. Or take it to a tyre shop that you trust and put the...

Your rear shock could be going out

My rear shock needed replacing at around 17K (2012 GS12). Warranty fix, thankfully. But I do remember the bike sitting low before the new shock was installed.

You may need two sizes

Some bikes (mine, a 2012 GS) use two different sized E-Torx for the handlebars. My fading memory says they are a E-10 and E-12 female size

Anyone Mounted a Rotopax to the OEM Aluminum Panniers?

I was thinking of doing the same, one for gas, the other for water. The water rotopax is handy when moto camping, reduces trips to the camp water supply.

Also, when traveling with a rotopax, it's...
