I was having a hard start/idle issue so the carb was the first place I decided to start judging by the way the bike was running. Everything looked pretty good as I try to run ethanol free fuel...

DRZ400 petcock fix

Here's a quick recap of how I hopefully rebuilt the petcock on my '03-400S. It was leaking and first I replaced the o-ring and fuel selector gasket on the front. This didn't sure the leak totally but...

I installed a USB power outlet and picked up some extra power cables with lightning plugs from FleaBay. It tucks up behind the plastic on my DRZ....

Killing rectifiers-

I'm new to this forum, love it BTW, and posted in the general area and didn't know to post in bike specific threads. After replacing the battery and rectifier the RR only lasted about 24 hours....

It's hard for me to leave something sitting when I suspect there may be a problem. I have checked the connections and grounds and they appear fine. Even though the stator checks fine I wanted to see...

Nuthern DRZ400 killing rectifiers-added pic

I recently bought a DRZ400 and it has a problem charging. The rectifier checked bad so I bought another, installed it and everything was working fine. Less than 24 hours later-no charge again....
