I enjoyed my 650. I wouldn't buy one with a mind on upgrading, nor would I pay $3500 for one. But they are OK for 45 mph tooling around and they are very fun.

I think I would do an R1150GSA, with a really good subframe and a leading link, then I would take a Ural Chair and beef up the tires and shocks. For ultimate, that's what I would do.

So, I have my first 500 miles out of the way with the new ural. Here are my observations.
